The season ticket holders BBQ provided the ideal opportunity for the SSA to hand over cheques for £500.00 to Henry’sTrust and the Saracens
Sports Foundation. The donations were the result of a surplus in the SSA funds, due to a successful first year of the revamped SSA. A big thank you is due to all of those members of the SSA who have travelled on the SSA coaches, attended the Quiz night and generally given their support to the SSA. At half time in the pre-season friendly against Esher, SSA chairman, Stuart Jones presented cheques to Henry and to Richard Hill, for the Saracens Sports’ Foundation.
Meanwhile, The SSA had a busy afternoon in the distinctive red gazebo (see below), signing up new, and re-newing members, and handing out membership gifts. There are still a few SSA 25th Anniversary commemorative shirts available – you can see Stuart, resplendent in his! Just get in touch if you would like one for yourself.
