SSA Website – an update

Just a couple of points about the SSA website, in case you’ve not spotted them already.

Firstly, the site is not restricted to SSA members, but of course we would like you to join, and you can do so here. Membership will of course get you discounted travel on the SSA coaches for away matches, access to SSA social events, a membership gift when you sign up, and of course, that wholesome, warm feeling of being part of something special. Anyway, back to the website; for booking coach seats for away travel, just follow the link in the box at the top of the right hand sidebar – this will be updated each time we are running coaches to away games. From the linked page you can sign up for your seats and pay securely via Paypal.

Below the coach seat booking box is a distinctive black and red box with all of the latest news about Sarries; This is being assembled, courtesy of Google, from a variety of sources, but not replicating the information you get on the official Saracens site, or the ‘unofficial’ message board. If you click the ‘view all’ link at the bottom of the box, you will see a different screen, with the news snippets, and where you can set up an RSS feed, or just ‘follow’ our intrepid reporter.

The menu in the lefthand sidebar gives access to other information on the site, with the recently added guide to pubs, bars and accommodation options in the Watford and Wembley areas. There are links in the 2010/11 Fixtures list to information about away grounds, and we’ll be happy to add any more to these pages, based on any information you can provide. The ‘What’s On’ link displays a calendar of fixtures, with the immediate upcoming games appearing further down the sidebar.

We’ll happy to hear from you with any suggestions about SSA activities and the website, so feel free to add a comment to this item, or email siteadmin@saracenssupporters.com
