Phew, what a scorcher!

Well, despite the heat. the dust and the constant beating of the drums, Saracens extended their pre-season winning run against an impressive London Welsh side at Old Albanians.  Despite their off-field financial problems, the Dragons gave the motley men-in-black a good run for their money.  London Welsh held a narrow half time lead playing with the benefit of a very strong breeze.  But the collective wisdom amongst Sarries’ supporters was that superior fitness and wind assistance

SSA launches at the Fans’ Forum

Saracens Supporters Association was officially launched at last night’s Fans’ Forum in the Old Albanians clubhouse. Before the Q&A session with Edward Griffiths and Brendon Venter got underway, Simon Mattick outlined the objectives of the SSA to the assembled audience, introduced the committee members and invited Seb Grant to show off the new SSA logo on a specially printed T-shirt.
