SSAway in Exeter

To start the day, we will meet, as usual, in the Blue Ball Inn, which is the closest pub to the ground on Sandygate. They do great ale and food but make sure you book in advance if you want to eat in the restaurant. They always look after us really well and there’s always a good crowd there so we are looking forward to this.

After the match and with Christmas around the corner, everyone is invited to the SSA Christmas Party, which will start off at the Black Horse. This pub comes highly recommended for the start of our celebrations and is conveniently located close to Exeter Centre.The other advantage to the Black Horse is that it is virtually next door to Exeter’s newest pub, The Stand Off, which is part owned by Gareth Steenson. Unfortunately, it's a relatively small venue that had already taken some early Christmas bookings we can’t go there straight away but we have an invitation from the management to move over later in the evening when they will have live music etc.
