SSA awards presentation - 20 September 2016

The evening was kicked off with a presentation of the exploits of Marc Sidole, Owain Davies and the Saracens Sport Foundation. This was followed up with Ed Clark's interview with Sonia Green and Laura Eddie from Saracens women's team

Unfortunately, neither Owen Farrell (International player of the season) nor Maro Itoje (1st XV newbie) were able to make it on the night and received their awards from SSA chairman, John Trigg, earlier in the day.

Thankfully, Richard "Remix" Barrington (Champagne moment) and Alex Goode (Player of the season) were allowed out and received theirs from Steve Cummins and Malcolm Denton respectively.

Proceedings were brought to a close with the presentation of the framed shirt donated by Petrus Du Plessis, last season's SSA sponsored player. The lucky winner was Josh Saunders.
