SSA sponsored player 2016-17

We are very pleased to announce that our sponsored player for 2016-17 will be A league scrum-half, Tom Whiteley.Here's an excerpt from a Saracens.com news story dated 30 March 2016 ...

"Whiteley came on as a substitute in Monday night’s game and impressed in the closing stages after Ben Spencer’s substitution. A former Rosslyn Park sevens player of the tournament with Millfield, he previously played at full back but has now been moulded into a scrum half since joining the Saracens academy. Tom Whitely started this seasons A-League campaign by coming on as a substitute away to Exeter Braves. On his introduction, he managed to charge down Will Hooley’s kick to score a great try. Whitely scored his second try in as many games in an impressive cameo against London Irish and has since gone on to make an appearance in every A League game this season."

Off the field you couldn't meet a friendlier or more personable guy and we look forward to seeing him at SSA events.
