Away days - on the road with the Men in BLK
Aviva Premiership matches come fast and furious. After Exeter and Saints, we have two away matches at Quins and Bristol. Quins is, of course, old stomping ground and we all have our ways and traditions of getting to Twickers. We know that a group of sarries supporters are meeting at the Fox in Richmond and they would be happy to see fellow supporters if you want to join them. Despite it being rescheduled to a Friday night, the Bristol game is proving to be very popular. Our good friend Kevin Mak has helped us out by planning a pub crawl to the ground. It will start around 3:30 pm, taking in the Orchard Inn cider pub, the Tobacco Factory (de-facto tap for the Bristol Beer Factory brewery) and the Bristol Sports Bar & Grill by Ashton Gate. Obviously the Sports Bar being next to the ground gets very busy so we'd suggest, if you don't do the crawl, you meet at The Tobacco Factory, which is about a 10 minute walk from the ground and serves great beer and food. It's also a piece of history as the last bit of the old Wills Tobacco site and can be found on Raleigh Road.
